Topic: Fullscreen HD Videos not smooth

Hello together,

first, VP is fantastic !! My projector doesnt have any "smooth operations" built in, so SVP is just GREAT smile !

But second, HD-Videos seem to be not smooth enough. CPU usage is around 14 %, but the vids show much lesser smoothness. They are still played smoother than without SVP, but SD-Videos are looking MUCH MUCH smoother ( i love it ^ ^). In windowed mode, they look better and almost as smooth as SD-Videos. But fullscreen is much worse.

How can i fix this? If you need details,please ask.

Increase settings. Doubleclick SVP icon when playing FHD video.

Yes, of course i tried all settings under the video profile before my post. It doesnt seem to increase smoothness to a point like it works in SD material. Tried also CPU-only rendering, no effect. There must be something else to configure ......or am i wrong?

you may want to switch to the madVR renderer

Cant test this at the moment, but - will the smoothing effects still be there if i switch to MadVR?

Yes, but note that MadVR also can use more resources depending on how it's configured.

Alternatively you can just enable "D3D Fullscreen".
