Topic: Windows 8 And SVP

Hi,

I installed SVP but I can't open SVP tray menu. SVP tray is gone when I click SVP tray.

Sorry for my English.

Did you look up all tray icons by click on arrow up near the clock?

I see at your picture that SVP is not in "ready" state. Please post here SVP log: C:\ProgramData\SVP 3.1\Logs\Log.txt

Here it is:

Re: Windows 8 And SVP

SVP hangs on CPU performance level estimation. Maybe it can't create folders and copy profile files.
Try to run once SVPMgr with option "Run as administrator".

1. What CPU do you have?
2. SVPmark test works fine at your system?

I tried to run once SVPMgr with option "Run as administrator" but it doesn't work.

1. Intel Core i5 Cpu M 460.
2. No, it doesn't work, nothing happened.

Run Start - Programs - SVP 3.1 - Utilities - CLInfo. If you get error then it is OpenCL-driver corruption. It is mean you need to reinstall video driver.

Another way: to disable OpenCL-acceleration and to copy profile files manually:
1. Change value svp_libflowgpu=0 in the file "C:\ProgramData\SVP 3.1\Settings\settings.ini" and save it.
2. Copy all files from "C:\Program Files (x86)\SVP\Resources\Profiles\Ref 3\cpu\" to folder "C:\ProgramData\SVP 3.1\Profiles\".
3. Launch SVP-Manager.

I uninstalled Amd Catalyst Control Manager and it works, thanks @MAG79.
