Topic: Opening anything other than .mkv crashes MPC?

Has this happened to anyone else? I'm assuming there's some setting I should apply differently - possibly at installation.

Thanks for the reply! Good questions too.

I just checked and MPC crashes even after I exited SVP. ffdshow launches automatically whenever I open MPC though.

Error message:
MPC-HC - Mini Dump
MPC-HC terminated unexpectedly.

MPC crashes even after I exited SVP
So. It is not SVP error. You need to:
- reinstall MPC; or
- reinstall codecs: haali, LAV, ffdShow; or
- reinstall windows and all applications.

Or you can go to MPC-HC site and ask there.
