Topic: 1080i 3d projector

Hi guys !

I'm about to buy the w1070 projector(only support 3d 1080i/60 sbs and 720p/60 sbs) and I want to know if I will be able to use svp to smooth all my 3d sbs videos and finally set the output format to 1080i with some player(stereoscopic) ?

Thx

I will try 1080i this evening with my 3D monitor Viewsonic VX2268wm.

I've look at monitor's specs. It not support SBS. Only native 120 Hz. sad
Maybe you need to download sample 60fps 1080i SBS sample and give it to that projector?
I think if it can play 1080i SBS at 60fps then we can do 60fps 1080i SBS from any kind of 24fps 3D video material via SVP. It is not the problem. wink

Re: 1080i 3d projector

Ok ill try to find a 60fps 1080i SBS sample and ask peoples on avsforum to try it out.

But do you say that SVP can output interlaced video ?

Thx MAG.

Re: 1080i 3d projector

SVP can output progressive SBS. Video adapter can convert it to interlace. It works on any modern video adapter.

Indeed, Thx !

Re: 1080i 3d projector

Just let SVP do its job, and let the graphic card interlace the picture in the end! Custum resolutions..., but with a small and very smart tool. Check out how to add interlaced in non standard resolutions/refresh rates here, and concentrate on the CRU (custom res. utility). http://www.curtpalme.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=371056
