I reset everything and set the PotPlayer to use FFDShow and now it seems to be ok even on high settings in SVP. Maybe there was something bad in my settings - I used the Maken's PotPlayer setup guide which was good on my desktop, but it seems it's not good for my laptop. So finally after so long time I'm able to use SVP on my laptop.

Thank you  for your help and have a nice day.

I just sent the report...

Here is copy of the text which I wrote there:

In regards of forum topic https://www.svp-team.com/forum/viewtopi … 726#p77726

I made further research on the problem and found this:
If I switch PotPlayer to use dedicated graphics card it is almost perfect, but the audio is late by cca 1/2 sec.
I tried
* Disable DXVA: SVP index is still 1, video seems perfect, audio is delayed
* Enable DXVA (also tried different options of DXVA2 copy back): SVP index is still 1, video seems perfect, audio is delayed
* SVP disabled: Audio is perfectly aligned with video.

I reconfigured my system that it will not drop the CPU frequency, but the result is similar (see attachment). I also look on the CPU cores load and all cores are loaded - it means it's not like only one core running on 100%. My CPU is i7-8750H 2.2GHz

the orange line is the CPU frequency. if it drops so heavy under not-so-high load then blame your laptop's manufacturer big_smile

I do not understand why should stay CPU frequency high if the CPU load is very low (cca 20% as in picture). Can you please elaborate?

Oh I'm sorry, I also figure it out, that on my desktop it's the DXVA disabled. Even I copy my settings between desktop and laptop this is still different.

Anyway now I tried many options from the DXVA copy back dropdown (on laptop). But the SVP index dropping very quickly it's almost the same when I set the SVP parameters higher or lower and the CPU is not loaded so much on higher or lower settings.

   Use DXVA: checked
   DXVA Copy Back: D3D11: Auto

Screens are attached

Where can I look to find a culprit of this behavior?

Thank you very much for the help smile

For me it's working without copy back mode on the desktop, see the screenshots

Click Built-in codec/DXVA settings and in the window opened check Use DXVA and Use DXVA2 Copy-Back Mode

Thank you for quick reply. Actualy these 1 and half year I've tried to get SVP work with FFDShow filter as is described in the page which you linked. But it doesn't worked. What I could reach is that it's work for about 10secs than the video and audio desynchronizes and it's all. I went through the forums, tried many options (other media players and so...). I really worked with it long long time and at the end I gave up all hope that it will works. But recently I saw that you have information that the pot player doesn't need the FFDShow filter. It's here
https://www.svp-team.com/wiki/Manual:SVP as you can see it in attached picture. When I saw this I changed SVP to native mode on my desktop and it works much better than with FFDShow filter. So I hoped that it will work also on my laptop, but it does't work.

I'm thinking that the Potplayer setup wiki page is obsolete when it's showing that you need to configure FFDShow filter while your newer page is saying that "no need to load ffdshow filter"

SVP is not working on my laptop. But it's working on my desktop and I'm trying to compare what is different.
I have
* PotPlayer version 201209,
* SVP version 4.5.0.200
* Windows 10

When I run video, SVP logo is not appears on video screen, but the tooltip on tray icon shows that SVP playback is running. SVP Index graph is showing N/A and in the log there are these rows
Laptop log - SVP does not work

I'm trying to play same video with the same settings on desktop, where the svp is working and in the logs there are the similar lines

I have over 2000 eur laptop from the end of 2019 and I'm trying to get SVP working there more than one year and I'm not successfull yet.
Does anyone have some idea what is wrong.

Chainik wrote:

this's a known issue, will be fixed in the next build

I haven't found thats know issue, so sorry for the repost and thank you smile

I'm using keyboard shortcuts Ctrl+Shift+C and Ctrl+Shift+V in other applications (Photoshop Lr, Evernote, Gmail client in Chrome).

But when the SVP manager is running this shortcuts aren't working in other applications so I have to shut down the SVP manager every time when I need to use this applications.

I disabled the shortcuts in SVP manager (see the attachment), but it hadn't worked.

Thank you for the help
