I have image support on my 7730M OpenCL driver, but that doesn't seem to be enough. And I don't expect ROCr to work on anything older than the 200 series.

Looks like the 1650 is Turing GPU but Volta NVENC. What does that mean for SVP?

Would this only effect 60fps encoding or decoding as well?

I hear about this error only once two years ago. I have no information if it was fixed and how.
We do not have AMD Radeon HD 7700M Series to check. But you can google this error. Perhaps it can be fixed by drivers change.

It is very strange. You have 2 GPUs but 4 OpenCL drivers. One GPU needs only one OpenCL.

It doesn't matter which OpenCL drivers I use or have installed, none are accepted for benchmarking or usage.

SVP doesn't want to init or benchmark any of my GPUs. Mostly vanilla Arch. Using intel and amdgpu drivers.

Lip flaps match up and there's no drift in the A/V sync.

Looks like a driver update helped. It's not crashing anymore but it's not stable and artifact-free. Not SVP's fault.

Edit: I need to do more testing before I chime in. It looks like it works and is faster compared to not specifying gpu-api, but I don't see any Vulkan calls in the verbose logging.

I have an AMD GPU and I'm encountering the following on Windows 10. Do SVP and Vulkan have issues working together?

Crashes if framerate conversion is enabled:
mpv.com -v --no-config --vo=gpu --gpu-api=vulkan --input-ipc-server=mpvpipe filename.mkv

Loads and plays:
mpv.com -v --no-config --vo=gpu --gpu-api=vulkan filename.mkv

Hmm. It's not even multi-monitor.

As soon as Chrome has focus, even with a single monitor, SVP starts choking.

That wouldn't go away until I made sure both the browser and SVP were running on the same GPU.

I guess there's a bottleneck in buffer copies between my GPUs.

But this is insane. AMD does not want Chrome running on dedicated GPUs and locks down the affinity of the executable. The driver will go out of its way to use an integrated GPU for browsers. In order to make this sustainable, I'll have to copy the browser exe every time it updates, rename it, and pin it.

The slowdown doesn't end until I return focus to the 2nd monitor. Even then, the video needs a few seconds to catch back up.

Is there a workaround?

I don't even think SVP is kicking in properly.

I see the SVP message in the mpv window, but the smoothness doesn't actually occur. In fact, mpv lags while it struggles to load the filters.

The special mpv is in C:\Program Files (x86)\SVP 4\mpv64

That being said, mpv/vapoursynth performance is poor. Do I need to enable hwaccel?

I've also noticed that the 64-bit SVP engine has improved dramatically since it debuted.

I got everything working with Crimson drivers on my laptop.

You already have it.

Launch it from the start menu (Maintain SVP 4) or from the Utilities>Additional menu of SVP
