EDIT III. Still no smoothing what so ever, on any format. All the problems still remain.
EDIT IV. Downloaded the ffdshow video filter. Added it, but now whenever i play anything on MPC it crashes when SVP is open. Runs fine when I close SVP. SVP attemps to smooth video then crashes.  sad

So... one problem, solved 3 problems created. In 1080 * mode, there is no sound, and the file only plays to 8 mins when it should be 26 mins ish. Also, now the newer version of MPC does not work with SVP (just says waiting for ffdshow video). I'm going to try resarting and then downloading one of the nightly builds of mpc.

EDIT all problems still persist. Any ideas?

EDIT II I read more and I also don't have ffdshow like you do on the screen capture. I might just follow his steps and see what happens.

Nah that's ok, was just curious. Default settings are doing me fine.  smile

I'm not sure, other blurays have been fine before, it was just that one. I'll try with my next bluray from netflix.

I have another question, on a 60htz tv, is it worth going above 60fps? Like setting svp to multiply the original frame rate by 4? Right now I'm watching a youtube vid originally 25fps and at 4x brings it to 100fps. Can't really tell the difference between 60fps to 100fps. Is it going to be smoother or am I just looking at more artifacts?

When I was watching iron man 3 a week ago my cpu load was 98-100% according to other sources outside of svp.

Restoring to defaults suggested I pick 5g.

So I just used SVP to watch Monsters U on bluray. It was the first bluray movie that I have actually got working right with AnyDVD HD and MPC and that the 60fps was beneficial. I tried to watch Iron Man 3 with SVP but my processor was at 100% load and didn't play smoothly at all. I feel like my PCs hardware should be up to scratch. Spec here (http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1MEFw).

My processor is OC'ed to 4.4Ghz from it's stock 3.4Ghz.

So my first question is should my PC be able to play 1080 blurays, and if so what may have caused the issue?

Second question is the movie played with french visuals in MPC (audio was in English), there didn't seem to be a way to change this. Anyone have any suggestions on how to get around that?

I'm guessing the devs know about it by now so we just play the waiting game.  smile

MAG79, what does that mean in layman's terms?

Are the dev's usually quite quick with changes? Or is this something that's going to be stuck for some time?

Oh that sucks. Think this'll be something the devs can fix?

But Chainik, it did work fine for the few hours after installed it, then never again. MAG I tried everything you suggested but still 720 is all it gives me.

1080 monitor is now default, still no 1080 option in svp youtube thingy.

I don't know how to open my browser at 1080...   sad

Ah, so I have two monitors, one is 7xx and the other is 1080. The 7xx is the default monitor. Is there anyway around this? I don't want to make the 1080 monitor my default monitor.

I believe I loaded the same video and it allows 720 but not 1080, it's not even on the list.

I was pretty sure when I first installed it it worked in 1080. But now I've tried it with a bunch of 1080 vids and it'll only offer me to play it in 720. sad

1.0.5 is the version number.

Anyone have any ideas?
