MAG79,

I don't have those options. Mine is just checked like this,

If I change to DXVA2 copyback(which I suppose means use the ATI GPU), the frame drop count isn't lowered and I don't see any difference from when the "LAV Video Decoder" was set to Intel Quicksync.
What else could I try to lower the dropped frames?

Thanks for replying Chainik.
I've got Radeon HD 6470M on the same machine operating in 'switchable-graphics' - which from my understanding requires me to be plugged in to operate. And I'm not plugged in all the time, hence I went with "Intel Quicksyn" in LAV video decoder options.

Is this where svp manager decides to select which gpu to use? If not, how can I change it to the radeon HD 6470M GPU(and try to reduce frame drops).
Any help would be appreciated.

Hello,

Love the SVP project. Trying to get acclamated to all the options and improve performance.

My setup: Mobile DualCore Intel Core i5-2430M, 2800 MHz. 6Gig RAM. Intel HD Graphics 3000 (HP Pavilion G7 1207SE)
My problem: 720p(23.9fps) encoded mkv video drop almost no frames(3 or 4) in hours of playing but once I go fullscreen, the frame drops go berserk. Abuot 1100 drops in roughly 5 mins of playing.

Here's what I have in my svp-manager.

It is worthy noting however, that 1080p 23.9fps plays with little or no frame drops at fullscreen mode, without any problems.
