Working in Update main Post. Thanks SVP Team to keep this active ( not deleted yet ).

Hey Maken, hope you're doing better. Just had a fresh OS install and even though I have your old guide screenshots/setting, rather wait to see your new guide soon.

All the best!

Followed the instructions in tehfirst post.  I if enable SVP then I get 4 or 5 seconds of playback followed by the nothing, only audio.  I'm eliminated MVR for now as that added an extra layer, but even with the default EVR rendering I get a few second then the player hangs.  I'm not  using the full GPU only about 41% when it does work for a few seconds, then nothing.

OS Win Version, x86/x64?
TV or Monitor, HDMI or Other cable?
CPU Model, GPU Model and Driver Ver?
PotPlayer & SVP Ver?

Too many variables for anyone to guess what could be causing this so do provide some extra info.
It might a good idea to uninstall everything using Revo/IOBit, clean out you registry with CCleaner and start all over.
SVP v4+ package contains everything you need so no need to DL files separately just tick what's required while in custom install then install the latest PotPlayer Beta.

Good effort from you as always Mak keep it up!

I've read readme file and tried following instructions but my ffdshow folder doesn't have ffmpeg.exe file for the script to work. I've used SVP provided ffdshow installer.
After selecting the script as the player within svptube menu I get this after selecting (NO) to download. http://oi60.tinypic.com/2je7dde.jpg

The title is self explanatory, I searched and looked around the possible locations but just can't find the loaded file/s from YT.

I'm using Maken's PotPlayer set-up along with SVPtube.

Thanks in advanced.

BTW Maken, I don't thing we need Avisynth v2.5.8 in Pt.2 installation as Avisynth SVP Edition is included in SVP Core if I'm not mistaken?

Hi Maken,

You are right, the new PotPlayer has changed! No offence to their Devs but what are they doing?

I've been using PortablePotPlayerGenerator_v110 to make the installer portable, but anything after v1.5.45955 and the Generator refuses to work with it...

Whatever they changed obviously wasn't minor and it seems like this is the new direction they are going in. Hope it won't degrade with time.

I see your guide has shrinked by 2/3, it's very easy to follow now great job! However some SVP settings/guide would be a treat if you get time with it. The standard SVP settings are a bit hyper like everyone's on drugs or something unnatural motions and twitching!!

Hi Maken,

Will your guide be applicable to PotPlayer Portable? I'm asking because installation method uses different directories and scattered dll files all over the place.

I'm trying to keep all my apps portable for easy copy/paste situations.

Happy new year everyone!

MAG79,

This is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks for this incredible software really one of a kind.

Where can I find Avisynth v2.5.8 SVP Edition that is an executable for windows?

I get stuck right at this part:
3- Install Avisynth v2.5.8 or better ( only recommended by SVP ).

Great to see you back in action Maken, to be honest I'm super exited to see your new guide hope it all goes smooth for you.

Thanks for your work and effort.

All the best.!

I recommend you for compatibility / image quality / 90/99% zero artifacts while playing + this amazing SVP:
1- Lastest POTPLAYER
2- Lastest Cole2K Media codecs
3- Lastest CoreAVC ( if you have nvidia video card much better for use CUDA )
4- Lastest FFDSHOW
5- Lastest Haali Splitter ( not install that one that come with CoreAVC i prefer to install it apart and config it manual )
6- Lastest AC3Filter and AC3File
7- Lastest LAV Splitters
8- If you have nvidia video card then i recommend you this driver 285.27
9- Lastest SVP ( support this ppl if you can coz they re making a great work )

Apart of that i need you to show us images of your artifacts and copy all the info of that media files here for some pro from here can help you and the rest of us in the case if there is something wrong with it.

Thanks man and greetings.

Hi Maken,

Could you tell me what to disable and what to enable for the CoreAVC to work. I have a weaker system so I went with madVR rendering but still no smooth 1080p even with lowered SVP quality settings, however when playing in WMP using CoreAVC I get smooth playback.
Spec:
Core2Duo P8400 @ 2.26GHz
GeForce 9600M GT 512MB
4GB DDR2 ram

Thx..!
