CPU is AMD Phenom II X6 1100T, 6 cores 3.3GHz OCed to 4.028GHz, never throttles

As you can see Hidden settings is not there and Processing threads is not there.
Now what??

In ffdshow the script is

Try {
 svppath="C:\Documents and Settings\Worfs\Application Data\SVP 3.1\"
 import(svppath+"AVS\ffdshow.avs")
 delim=":"
 WriteFileStart(svppath+"Logs\SAR.txt", "ffdshow_sar_x","delim","ffdshow_sar_y")
 WriteFileStart(svppath+"Logs\avsFPS.txt", "FramerateNumerator()", "delim", "FramerateDenominator()")
}
Catch(err_msg) {
 ffdShow_source().Subtitle(err_msg)
 WriteFileStart(svppath+"Logs\AVSError.txt", "err_msg")
}

Can you add script for Setmemorymax(1024) and add in script so I can use 4 cores?
Maybe that would help me to use default SVP shader.

Ok, I wrote like you said in ffdshow and MPC-HC gave no script errors.

So you say I will have more trouble this way than I did with SVP?

So what can I use other than SVP that will work for me for interpolation?

Also please edit that script for me so all it does is let me use 4 cores, and Setmemorymax(1024)
I would like to try that out.

Yes I have done that.
Now I get script error: there is no function named InterFrame2

So that means ffdshow filter cant find InterFrame2

Hi
Using MPC-HC.
I am trying InterFrame AviSynth plugin.
I put this into ffdshow filter > AviSynth
InterFrame(FlowPath="D:\Program Files\AviSynth 2.5\plugins\")
When I play video MPC-HC says script error: there is no function named InterFrame

I followed the instructions carefully installing the plugin I dont know why I dont work.
I tried using a different plugin and the same thing happens.

Can you help?

change "bicubic" to "bilinear"

Using bilinear does not help, still get lots of tearing if SVP shader higher than 1.

Hi
New driver has not made any difference.

Does this look ok now??
Refresh rate is steady now.
http://www3.telus.net/public/andnod/n.jpg

The only way to stop tearing was to set SVP shader to 1. Fastest, any higher and i get lots of tearing.
With SVP shader to 1. red and green lines are smooth any higher and lines get jagged.
Here are settings.
Any suggestions??

does that tell you anything?
Yes. "Refresh rate: 0.00000 Hz" big_smile
It is not normal. Update your DirectX and video driver.
Graphic is bad. It must be strait horizontal lines (red and green).

I have DirectX 9.0c it is the lastest for XP.

I think I have the lastest driver, but I will see if there is a newer one.

Is this better??
Refresh rate varies from 52.xxxx to 62.xxxx is that normal??
Do I still need to get graph lines strait??

Here is some tearing.
Tearing happens as the Enterprise moves slowly across the screen.
See how NCC-1701-E is distorted.
The tearing bar shows it but when I print screen the tearing bar does not show it.
This screen shot has statistics, does that tell you anything?

Oh! Yes. I didn't notice double ffdShow at the first screen (Thanks to Chainik). It is wrong. You need to leave one ffdShow.

How do I "leave one ffdShow." ??

OK
I forced Vsinc in GPU and enabled Vsync in MPC-HC now there is less tearing, but some tearing is still present.

25

(50 replies, posted in Using SVP)

Yes, it looks just like that.
Before SVP  I increased refresh rate from 60Hz to 80Hz, disabled Vsync on GPU and MPC-HC and that got rid of all tearing. GPU and MPC-HC Vsync settings are the same (disabled), now that I use SPV there is some but not as much tearing.

SO using SPV resulted in more tearing, tovarisch.
