SVP can process video with FullHD resolution in H.265 HEVC. For example with LAVFilters CUVID decoder.
What decoder are you using to watch H.265 HEVC?

hey hi, I'm using nothing to watch H.265. pawn stars I downloaded just play audio only then I realized they were a new codec.

I'm using the basically stock package you gave me FFDshow,mpc-hc and my favorite is svp 3.15.  Quad 965 processor. 3.40 ghz    GTX 550 TI. 

No I did not mean 4K support.  just decode 265   .... And I don't know much about LAVFilters , I'm using whatever came with this package. I'm in a folder now called LAV and there is a text document called change log that shows this number 0.58.1 - 2013/07/09 at the top. I'm trying the best I can  roll

I was just hoping that this format would be supported in my normal software somewhere in the future.. I would hope preferably in ffDshow because I think this is where the interpolation for the formats comes from. All I know is this is where AvsSynth is located.   I'm not an expert like you but I certainly appreciate you trying to help me.

hey hi, will there be an update so that these videos can be played native through SVP?

I looked at the new home cinema and it cannot natively play it there was another one that could but it would not interface with FFdshow

I tried a little.... I got SVP working so sweet and I love it so much I don't want to break it roll

So that's why I'm wondering if it will be implemented in a simple way.

hey,Chainik. This test I stated above is totally repeatable but other examples are not when videos are switched in their place so the test is not valid smile

I'll try to be more careful I'm not a technician. It does this on random videos but if I change the parameters the results changed.

Chainik, sorry I was busy working and I should have gotten back sooner.so sometimes I will be using media player classic and I will  pause and open up another one where upon this secondary video will take my CPU to 100%,I shut down SVP no difference and from then on SVP will be running 60 frames per second even exited from the system tray even  after taken from task manager. Opening a video will still play 60 frames per second.and strangely enough I still cannot play that secondary video I wanted in the first place. But with everything shut down I can play any other video in this case MKV. Two things strange one SVP removed from even task manager it still advancing the video, secondly the original second video I tried to play while one was paused still won't work causing CPU 100% I have to reboot the computer and only run one video instance at a time. Using pause on a video and opening a fresh one does not always work. I never had this problem before switching to 315. It's not that serious I usually don't open two instances of media player classic. But strange nonetheless

I'm curious but can anyone please tell me why we cannot use full artifact masking and still have fluid motion. Too hard on the CPU? It would be nice if artifact masking was not even a feature and we wouldn't have to put up with that jittery blur with motion on small objects moving.

I also was testing on my quad core and Nvidia system that any setting less than full seem to not work. From week settings to above normal all showed a distorted picture but when I went to full the artifacts diminished but then so did my smooth motion.

are artifacts the trade-offs forever that we have to have with SVP? It is a price to pay in quality for smooth video. It's too bad but at the end of the day I will still choose smooth video and I'm grateful to be using this software.

But do you think in the future we can have less artifacts in maybe future development and still retain the smooth video?

I've been using SVP and found this new version having a type of crash where it does not disengage. The test is repeatable if I pause media player classic and start another video CPU will skyrocket. Then when I run a single video it's under interpolation even when I say disable. Even if I stop the process SVP it just hangs. I'm a better than normal computer user and run a tight ship with a quad core 3.4 GHz and Nvidia 550 TI graphics eight gig RAM.

Anyone else find SVP version prior was more stable?

If I run single video only is pretty good and it doesn't usually get messed up.

Dragon here, I am 4X 3.4 GHz. Truly I don't really understand the program how everything does what it does but I want to say thank you that at least I can do. It's just that 3.06 used a lot less CPU for me. And also I mentioned the tearing on the left-hand side of the screen I played a little bit to get it to go away in 3.1.1 but it remained there. And finally 3.06 it didn't exist it was perfect. As a designer developer you must be trained and understand all this where us users we don't. But we are very grateful.

I have installed 3.1.1   ..3 times and I keep going back to 3.06 every time. What is the reason?.

my system
AMD Phenom II x4 965
8 GB RAM
GeForce GXT 550 Ti on a Asus motherboard.     

3.1 playing 1080 P .Flv files uses about 80% CPU SVP showing low performance. trouble getting it to use less CPU and smoothness doesn't look good.     3.06 this problem does not exist.

3.1 tearing on left hand edge of screen. I tried different settings it still was Tearing. Directly went back to 3.06 problem does not exist. Overall smoothing major improvement.

3.1.1 has overdrawn my CPU and given no benefit compared to 3.06. Testing over a couple weeks back and forth

In the development I'm just giving feedback I'm still so impressed with the team putting this together for us. 3.1.1 just does not work efficiently for me and I was wondering if anybody else has this problem or has an answer.

I've tried every different setting and advice from this form and hours of my own settings in 3.1.1 to no avail. 3.06 just wins on my computer.

My computer is extremely groomed I'm a part-time computer tech but not code writer. Operating system window seven ultimate cool
