I reached out to the SVP Team Support and they promptly responded with the solution.

Apps-->Terminal-->Command 

 vapoursynth config

Hardware: MacBook Air M5 (Apple Silicone)
macOS: Tahoe 25.5.1
SVP 4: 4.7.1.320
Does not work via MPV and VLC.
Please share some troubleshooting advice.

Three things:

1. I can't get VLC to work with SVP. (Works with mpv)

2. I followed the instructions found here: https://www.svp-team.com/wiki/SVP:VLC

3. I noticed that the new version of VaporSynth (R74) changed a lot.

Mac mini M1
16GB RAM
2TB Storage
macOS: Tahoe 26.4.1
VLC version 3.0.23 Vetinari (Apple Silicone)
SVP 4 Mac 4.7.0.302

I get the following message on the dos window when I used 4.9 for the first time. I'm driving a RTX 3080 "Your ONNX model has been generated with INT64 weights, while TensorRT does not natively support INT64. Attempting to cast down to INT32."

If you rename 4.9 to 4.4 and replace the existing 4.4, it will work with the 4.4 option in the dropdown.



This is the clear instructions I was looking for. I hope there's an update soon. I purchased two licenses plus one for my iPhone. So far I like SVP a lot.
