Problem:
After typing mpv videofile in terminal, the video is opened, but it quickly quits itself, leaving the following message:

Argument 'modify_duration_int' has invalid type 'opt'.
Aborted

I have compared several MEMC applications, such as SVP4 Pro, AMD Fluid Motion (with RX580), DMitriRender, PotPlayer (double frame rate), and MadVR (smooth motion). I finally consider the best one or the most suitable one for me is SVP4 Pro with 1.5m interpolation mode.

However, the CPU load is a little high, making the fans of the laptop quite annoying. Moreover, the GPU acceleration function in SVP doesn't ease much of  the burden of CPU at all.

So, is it possible that in the future SVP releases a GPU-oriented version to obtain a "relaxed" CPU?

By the way, I have an eGPU box with an RX580 graphic card. The GPU is much quieter under interpolation tasks.

I've bought SVP 4 on mac, and it gives me a great experience on videos. So firstly I have to say, thank you so much for your hard working.

Then, my question.

Yes, the frame interpolation gives a smooth motion, BUT sometimes additionally brings some blurred, ghost shapes around the moving object, especially when the moving object is in front of a complex background.

For example, when a boy is running in front of some flowers or a building with many windows, it looks as if some soap bubbles are following the boy!

So,  for this phenomenon, can it be fixed by the optimization of the algorithm? Or is it a native weakness of MEMC that can never be fixed well forever no matter which algorithm is applied?

Thank you!
