Ну, мне нравится что любая прога запускается еще до того, как я отпущу кнопку мыши.
А за процессом установки чего-угодно наблюдать вообще чисто оргазм 
С другой стороны разницы между двумя и шестью ядрами (кроме СВП) вообще нет. Так что это самые удачно вложенные 6 т.р. за последние Х лет, даже если винт умрет завтра.
Тест: сколько времени от нажатия на кнопку включения компа надо, что бы открыть сайт forum.ixbt.com? (для определенности - Хром, линка на ixbt.com - на быстрой панели) 
У меня 38 сек.
Если они пишут - значит они
а) взяли валидный мейл
б) ввели букво-капчу на регистрации
в) нажали на линку в мейле
Я не думаю что это боты.
Пару недель уже лютый, бешеный поток спама с польских адресов. Я уже задолбался чистить 
Тянет банить все мылы в домене .pl.
Меньше страшилок на ночь читать надо
Для меня лично бонус от ССД перевешивает страх от потери 6 т.р. пусть даже раз в год

А, да, касательно совета выше держать винт полупустым. Может оно и так (хотя для сандфорса явный перебор + на любом ссд еще процентов 20 емкости и без советчиков "скрыто"), тогда кмк гораздо проше при разбивке диска ту же половину оставлять не разбитой.

Мне, в принципе, глубоко все-равно , но сразу возникают вопросы:
1. где написано что он "аппаратный"?
2. что такое "аппаратный" - я думал что это то, что выполняется на UVD, и может быть подкручено через драйвер видяхи
3. применение пиксельного шейдера "deinterlace" в mpc-hc - это тоже "аппаратный деинтерлейс независящий от декодера"?
4. галка "perform deinterlacing in separate thread" не настораживает?

Non-privileged process (SVP) can't "talk" with privileged one (ffdshow instance inside MPC-HC). That's the reason.

Yes, sure.
I did not modify or alter MPC-HC installation settings in any way. I did not set anyting on it's properties. It's the same for UAC, it's not disabled, nor any settings modified.

See the picture:
First instance of mpc-hc is "disabled" and it means it's running with user privileges, second one is "not allowed"
(I've to check "show processes from all users" first for "not allowed" value to show)
and it's running as admin.
So you just have to figure out why your MPC-HC runs as admin. May be you've got "Run this program as administrator" option checked at "Properties" -> "Compatibility" page and some strange (="non default") UAC settings?

Memory consumption depends on:
0. frame size
1. half / quarter pixel
2. number of calculation threads -> and in GPU mode this number is almost two times larger by default.
So 8-cores CPU + quarter pixel + FullHD frame size leads to too high memory usage in GPU mode.

It's a danger value - it's very easy to exceed 2 GB memory limit especially with many cores CPU.

а вот от бумажного экрана вообще ничего не отражается

Например, 13-й SVP-шейдер его вообще не использует

Who could tell? Just double check it. I don't know the right way to see whether the app was run as admin or not but it seems that such processes have empty "UAC virtualization"
(check it in "View"->"Select columns" list)

BTW, if you're running player as administrator you have to run SVP manager as administrator too

Let's take a closer look at very simple SVPmark synthetic calculations. No codecs, no avisynth, even no real video here.
Your results: 447 in single-threaded mode and 1003 in multi-threaded. 1003/447 ~= 2 = number of physical cores.
And compare it with real i7-960: 462 in single-threaded (almost the same value) and 2042 in MT. 2042/462 ~= 4

It should work fine on your hardware, so post here some extended info:

2. screenshot of "Show" -> "Performance graph" while playing 1080p video

118 vs 124 fps на "good" - это наверное больше погрешности
При том что по видео наоборот слабее получилось, но это наверное дрова виноваты.
"Framerate change" -> "To screen refresh rate"
"SVP-shader" + artifacts masking -> anything you like cause they're processing by GPU
If "GPU-acceleration" in the main menu is checked then it's working. Just try to uncheck it and see the CPU load
Also benefits of GPU acceleration depends on the settings used. For example they'll be minimal with frame doubling and high vectors search settings.

а если просто так, то 8800 очевидно сильнее 9600 gt, которой, в свою очередь, вполне достаточно
