Don't get me wrong but I have no idea what to do on my side to get the similar result. Unless I can do this - I can't do nothing to fix it.
"video quality" options in the driver often lead to various problems, especially on low-end cards
so yes, it's better to turn them all off
May be just one thing - ensure that ffdshow doesn't do any color conversion. So there should be YV12 input (from LAV) and YV12 output (to madVR).
By default output is set to NV12, which is not a big (or small) difference but just to make it the pure bypass filter

Those artifacts are from the not cropped video frame. Believe me, I know.
If you really are "getting the same artifacts as that other guy" then just crop that damn video at last
Otherwise just give me the information I need to try to figure out what is wrong in your case.

you can even catch one interpolated frame and post it here too

Performance test isn't perfect so just select profiles one step below auto-detected ones.
e.g. if you get "CPU performance level" = 3 then choose "2. Core2 Quad,..." in the list

для меня пока не так очевидно, почему нельзя ограничиться каким-то одним значением

вариант 1: глубина регулируется в окне "подсветка краев" - "тип подсветки" - "пользовательская"
варинат 2: открыть текстовым редактором файл override.js в папке SVP, убрать коммент ("//") и выставить любое значение параметру "smooth.light.border"
регулировать это из SVPlight - нельзя, на то есть технические причины

Можно сразу с примерами, наглядно показывающими что отсутствие такой регулировки - это плохо.
Ну и я еще раз подчеркну, что "глубина" зоны усреднения регулируется и сейчас, если этого сильно захотеть.

Так оно не сохраняет тогда, если я просто выбираю и закрываю! Я потом открываю - а там старое выбрано!

оно с кол-ом лампочек и кнопокой "установить" никак не связано
То есть я захожу в "подсветку краёв", выбираю "полная", запускаю видос, выбираю тип "пользовательская", там всё настраиваю, потом опять иду в "подсветку краёв" и выбираю "выключено"?
