2.5.8 "SVP edition" is already in any SVP 3.x installation, in the "Resources\Avisynth" subfolder

Right now SVP 4 installation consists of 20+ packages. They can and will be updated "asynchronously". For example, if we'll get completed German translation today I'll immediately post an update for that particular package.
And I'm totally sure we won't update a standalone installer too often.

SVP cannot seem to handle VFR (variable frame rate) inputs without losing the sync with the audio signal
it's better to lock frame interpolation to just frame doubling (x2) for vfr videos
there was an option for this in SVP 3, we'll add it to SVP 4 soon

There was one attempt to post a message on their support forum and the message was quickly disappeared

4800 is not supported, you shouldn't see it in the SVP main menu.
Maybe you just upgraded from some old build and have an invalid value in the configuration?
So open Application settings -> Additional options -> All settings and set frc.gpu = 0 manually.

Interestingly enough, regardless of whether you're using GPU acceleration or not, the 2c profile does in fact use different (lower) settings than the 2g profile.

surprisingly, "xC" profiles are for "cpu only" systems and "xG" are for systems with a GPU
In multi-GPU systems SVP uses one that is selected in the menu...

многие знания - многие печали...
если установка будет скрытой, а галочки в инсталяторе отсутствовать - это поможет? o_O

Изменилось то, что раньше это - "сделать готовый самодостаточный что-то" - было в принципе невозможно.
