just to be clear: you've just changed core2 to core i7 (+mobo), nothing more
the same video card, the same OS including all the video apps installed
right?
===
BTW, check AMD's control panel and turn off all the video enhancement options

> The question is should I set SVP to use the iGPU now?
OpenCL apps are not automatically distributed by the video driver so so can just choose either iGPU or dGPU - whatever is best in your system - regardless of the card used for the video rendering.
> Option vf-add: vapoursynth doesn't exist.
Windows
Linux
The very same answer as earlier - it's up to PayPal only.
As we're continuously receiving payments from all over the world - it's not a problem of the receiving PayPal account.

Try to edit "ui-scale.txt", change 0 to 1
I've no idea now why it detects your display as "957 dpi"

Fixed in .81
see rev.81 plus updated installer interface (server-side changes only, no need to re-download setup .exe)
I bet it's the very same script using the very same SVP libraries in the same video player.
If the only way to make it not crash after the wakeup is system reboot then I have no ideas what could be the reason.
Maybe some extremely hardcore system protection software (anti virus, etc.)?
> i don't know how to get the AVS script that generated by SVP4
information -> add. info -> last generated script
nothing can stop you from asking for a refund
this's the interesting part
it works fine in the beginning, but suddenly start to crash the video player
something has been changed, you may try to remember _what_
hd 4600 was already enough, 530 should be much faster... not with madVR though
> Then I randomly chose "Message Boxes" from the drop down, changed the value from 9 to 6, this fixed the issue, then I reverted to 9 again and it didn't change anything, it was still fixed. Very strange.
It probably reset some hidden setting like "WindowText" size...
There was a "Window color and appearance" dialog in Windows 7 and earlier to do such things.
So it's just a 4K screen with resolution set to 1080p and scaling set to 100%? or what?
I saw the similar issue in OS X but I've never observed it in Windows o_O
The problem is in the default OS font size. UI elements that have extremely large fonts on your picture are set to the "default font size", while others (that look "normal" on the picture) set to some explicit values like "9 pt" or "11 pt".
The bottom line is it's not a scaling issue but some system fonts are configured in a very unusual way.
SVP's events log would be helpful...
The first thing I'd try is to restart the Manager after switching display resolution.
it's not "us", it's how regular expressions look like
it can take a regular expression between '\'' signs
\aaaaa|bbbbb|ccccc\
These options are here for the completely different reasons - to remove black bars (which affects interpolation quality) and to reduce CPU load in some cases
Nothing more, nothing less
> Thanks for your "help".
I'm not even sure I want to continue this conversation with you...
I meant I even don't see any problem o_O
This's interesting... I believe you're the first one with this issue
When you compare 3.1.6 vs 3.1.7 vs 4 - do you use the same Avisynth version in all cases?
> В других плеерах работает нормально
если в логе написано "interlaced video is not supported", значит так оно и есть
> Но вчера обновился VLC до 2.2.4, пауза стала работать, но зато на всех видео не правильная цветопередача (лица синие и т.д.)
вот с одним и тем же видео, на 2.2.3 цвета те, а на 2.2.4 не те?
если все-таки такая фигня с каким-то конкретным видео, то требуется его сюда предъявить
где-то кто-то рекомендовал от синих морд подергать ползунок цветастости (который hue) в фильтре постобработки...

I've no idea how they do this, but their URL still give an incorrect video length - i.e. 13 mins vs 1 h 20 mins.
On the other hand SVPtube's and youtube-sl's URLs show valid MediaInfo in the video properties while their URLs just show "No information available" on the MediaInfo tab.
This's strange...
Seems like the problem is MPC-HC doesn't take enough time to extract all needed info before starting the playback.
And for some reason LAV splitter's "Stream analysis duration" value doesn't affect anything.
