Вот например есть "mpc-qt", я его давно не смотрел, но разработка там активная.
Как следует из названия - интерфейс mpchc, кроссплатформа на Qt, всеми медиа функциями заведует движок mpv

means "installed Qt version is too old". Check that actual libQt5*.so in use are from Qt 5.5.0 or later.
If Qt 5.5 is installed into /opt, you can try something like this:
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/opt/qt55/lib ./SVPManager

был UMPlayer, форк SMPlayer-а, но вроде бы помер
а автор SMPlayer версию для OS X тащить не хочет / не может
да и вообще оно использует mpv через *опу (через запуск внешнего процесса mpv), такой подход долго не протянет...
народу нужен толковый кроссплатформенный плеер использующий libmpv!
что, коллеги, это уже юзабельно, или еще подождать?

well, it's not too much I think
additional problem is SVP doesn't have any "direct interface" to read true fps value
SVP can only use the number reported by ffdshow filter, which is also an averaged value over some unknown time

yeah, looking through all the constants involved in the frame rate computations it could take ~11 secs to switch to the new fps value in this case
however IF it will react too fast we can end with excessive fps switching in a real VFR videos

mine Mini with pretty much the same CPU - i5-4278U - can play 1080p, staying at 75 degrees

any anti virus software installed?
- try to execute "svp4-maintenance.exe" manually, will it run?
- if not, check that "svp4-maintenance.dat" file exists and is not empty (zero size)
- if it is empty or absent then copy "svp4-maintenance.dat.backup" into "svp4-maintenance.dat" and execute the .exe again
if nothing helps then re-installation is the only option

при реальном действии галочки в логе будут слова про "видео интерлейсное" и "галочка включена, считаем что частота удвоена"
это не локальный файл, что ли?
тогда галочка может быть вообщ не при чем, SVP даже не знает что видео интерлейсное
что mpv про него сообщает, только то и знает
начинать надо с того, что в зависимости от того, удваивает деинтерлейс кадровую частоту или нет, надо ставить/снимать галочку в "дополнительных настройках" SVP
