I don't really know what that installer do.
libvapoursynth_plugin.dylib depends on vapoursynth libs, you can check it with "otool -L" command... if you want to have some fun with terminal 
also mpv must be _built_ with vapoursynth support
The only "official" way to make it work is the one from wiki.

brew install --with-vapoursynth mpvfor a reason

Yes, VS filter is hardly usable right now. Avisynth filter has some issues too.
At least we can now easily test new PotPlayer beta builds.

Vapoursynth filter doesn't allow to use more than 50% of my CPU, so as I push the interplolation settings higher it just starts to slow down the playback.

One more time. SVP doesn't include 32-bit Vapoursynth FRC engine as of now.

As with any other player (except mpv bundled with SVP) you just need to point both PATH and PYTHONPATH env. vars to SVP 4\mpv64 folder.

Это проблема конкретно MPC-HC (точнее LAV filters), конкретно с DASH-видео (которе "V+A" в интерфейсе SVPtube) с ютюба.
Общего решения нет. Чем больше скорость интернета - тем меньше проблема.
С видео до 720p включительно (НЕ "V+A") проблемы нет.
В mpv проблемы нет с любым видео.
В VLC - даже точно не знаю, кажется тоже проблемы нет.

Update to "4.0.0.93-2" to make 64-bit PotPlayer work.
Warning: shit happens (c) , so
when you're updating from 4.0.0.93 to 4.0.0.93-2 ALL SETTINGS WILL BE RESET, including VIDEO PROFILES!
SAVE %APPDATA%\SVP4\settings\profiles.cfg FIRST!
basically the helper script "reset-settings.cmd" will be called in the wrong place

yep, turns out that PotPlayer 64 uses different window class name, this's why it's not detected by SVP Manager

If you google your error message you'll find a few forum posts starting from 2010, mostly concerning CCCP / K-Lite codec packs, but w/o any real solution.
Obviously something was broken in the system files in the upgrade process.

Avisynth Filter / Vapoursynth Filter is better in any way possible!

Since SVP rev.93.
Requiers Daum PotPlayer build 1.6.63082 or later.
Avisynth part works in SVP 4 Free too, Vapoursynth support available in the Pro version only.
Turned off by default, to turn it on set
main.setup.potplayer.native = true
in the "All settings" window and restart SVP Manager.
To switch between Avisynth and Vapoursynth interfaces, if both are available:
main.setup.potplayer.prefer_avisynth = true or false

ну значит с буфером обмена чо-то в этом вашем минте не так сделано, что так как везде не работает
что не удивительно
вон, на 2/3 дистрибутивов трей-иконки и/или меню не работают, или работают не так
потому и бесплатно
если будет не очень лень, когда-нибудь поставлю минт в виртуалку...
правда в данном случае кол-во глюков больше не от дистра зависит, а от граф. оболочки
вот в данном случае - какая?
