So... I bet if you _uninstall_ (not re-install) Intel drivers in this mode - it will work.

Basically the issue is in video drivers, and we can't fix it. All we can do is to make SVP Manager not crash and disable GPU acceleration.

I have yet to try that, but yesterday after a restart SVP somehow just started to work.

What if disable Intel IGP from the Device Manager while in G-Sync mode?

Intel's iGPU is not listed in G-Sync Mode. only NV's GPU is listed in the Device Manager.

I've reinstalled the Intel Driver twice now, and it still does not show up. when the Laptop is running with Optimus, SVP will work does not matter whether I chose the iGPU or the GPU to run it. but then once I switched to G-SYNC it does not work no matter what I do.

I'm sorry if I'm just circling around the same spot, but I really have no idea how to solve this problem sad

In all above posts I see you reinstalled NV's drivers three times (or even more), and I don't see you reinstalled Intel's.

I did reinstall Intel Drivers, though only once. I'll try to do that now

however you don't have an option to uninstall Intel drivers completely, so I'm not sure how to fix it
try to clean ALL the video drivers with the Display Driver Uninstaller first

nevermind, it stopped working again. am I supposed to reinstall the NVIDIA driver again and reinstall it again? sad

EDIT: Reinstalled NVIDIA Driver, problem persist. I have observed that the app works before the GPU Driver is installed (uninstalled with DDU but has yet to be reinstalled), during that time, I ran SVP and the log is as follows

by cleaning all the drivers, do you mean by uninstalling both Intel and NVIDIA's Display Driver with DDU and then reinstalling it back again?

EDIT:
I've completely reinstalled the NVIDIA Driver and SVP seems to work now, I don't know why it didn't fix it on the 1st reinstall.
but anyway,  Thank you very much for the help big_smile

I have tried to follow what the Dev had said on the thread you have linked, which is to reinstall Intel's iGPU Driver, I have done that, and the problem still persist

SVP worked fine on Optimus mode, which is normal. however once I switched to G-SYNC Mode, it does not open at all. based from my understanding, while in G-SYNC Mode, Intel HD Graphic is not used and all work is done with the Dedicated GPU which is in this case a GTX 1070. so I don't think Intel HD Graphic has anything to do with this problem.

I have also tried to reinstall the NVIDIA Driver and I have made sure it's a clean install.

I would like to know if there is any form of logs or anything that can indicate any crash and what happened.
the app can't be opened and I've checked the SVP Folder on the Program Files Folder and have yet to find where the logs are stored.

Hello,
first of all, I would like to apologize if I'm posting this in the wrong place or if it has been asked before.

I've got a problem of SVP literally not launching, I can see it in Task Manager after I launched it, but then nothing show up and it'll disappear from the Task Manager after several seconds

my Laptop is ASUS's GM501GS, Zephyrus M. which is capable of switching between Optimus and G-SYNC

Specs:
CPU : Intel Core i7-8750H (2.2GHz - 4.1GHz)
GPU : NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070
RAM : 16GB (1 x 16GB DDR4-2400)
Display : 1920x1080 144Hz IPS (+ G-SYNC)

initially, SVP was installed when the Laptop was in G-SYNC mode, so I assume it can't launch because it has to use Intel's iGPU.

I switched back to Optimus, and it ran like how it should have. so I forced both SVP and the Video Player to run with the GPU instead via Nvidia's Contol Panel. and then switched back to
G-SYNC to find it not working again.

I think it's really inconvenient that I have to switch between Optimus and G-SYNC to watch movies. which requires a restart every time I switched.

What I have tried to do :
- restarting the Laptop
- reinstall SVP
- running both Video Player and SVP with and without administrator

and that's it, I need help to solve this problem if possible.

I'm sorry if I made this Thread without knowing that using SVP with G-SYNC was actually Impossible

thanks in advance smile
