Because the inbetween are generated by the algorithm, in other words "it is speculative"

If svp could be appropriate to reducing the sharpness and contrast in adding inbetween of the anemi, then continuous frame could appear more natural

In some extreme cases， inbetween makes the picture to get worse.
you can see others samples:
sample_svp
sample_source

The chaotic frame often happens in high speed and high contrast.
I think it could be necessary to adjust the existing algorithms to make insert frame looks more natural.

BTW. If you want you can to know what peaces of this anime have different framerates. And what framerates.

If you want to remove double edges then use SVP-shaders 1 and 2.

picture pause, like that one:
when variable frame rate was detected,  frames would pause 0.x seconds.

two problem:
the first one:
Please see the screen shot first!
2 images:without_SVP.jpg & with_SVP.jpg

The premise condition that occurs in:
1. high contrast images
2. high speed images
3. produced fluid of inbetween

the 2nd one:
there would be a picture pause when svpMgr.exe detected the variable frame rate and the variable frame rate repair activated

What AMD driver version are you using?

I think you need to completely remove your current AMD driver (use Driver Fusion) and install it again (this or last stable version).

Let me try to use the Driver Fusion now...

You can ignore the chinese contents....
screenshot just showed two facts:
1. SVP would work properly when first fully installed - with GPU acceleration mode--only after the installation and before next restart, only at that time, everthing would be fine!
2. ffdshow raw video filter without any other option.---This is to show you ffdshow worked
and next OS restart , svp manager would crash down directly!

After I try many times, by the way:
1. exe file Compatibility Mode
2. without GPU acceleration
3. openGL render

now it works basically normal ,without GPU acceleration

the temperature of the CPU & GPU less than 42 centigrade...
it is never the causes of the problem on my pc, i am sure...

now, my problem is the SVP manager would crash down on open the program without any player or other operation.
there is a fact that when first install the SVP full package first ,everythingl works properly!
but after once OS restart , SVP would never work anymore ----
only if cancel GPU-acceleration options and choose the executable file of the SVP manager Compatibility Mode

the Compatibility Mode is the problem compromise,  work could be basically normal but without GPU acceleration.

after once os restart, the svp crashed on the next startup....
only the compatible mode can open the svp again,exe file->Right click->property-> compatible mode, use the winXP sp3 mode
ps:my os is win7 64bit with sp1 !

now svp can open by compatible mode, the black edge was solved by the video render OpenGL !
but back to the first floor: the GPU asseleration mode problem

Computer Configuration:
CPU:Intel Xeon E3-1230 V2 3.3*4
Display Card:MSI AMD 7850 with DDR5 2G
Main Board:MSI B75

Anyplayer(include potplay, mpc or kmplayer), if it open with the option GPU-asseleration, then would lead to player unstable even crash down immdiately.

Although SVP(3.1.5) can stable  work on the CPU-only mode，it maybe a bug, I think...
