update SVP
it was fixed in October '21 (or even earlier hmm)

Thanks Chainik. Fixed. Updates were labeled Windows 11 and Language files. Didn't think I needed it.

Transcoding fails and I get this error. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

You would never know what that video is about just coming across it. No difference between the two videos. Just looks like the same video being played side by side. Not informative at all.

Thanks for your reply MAG79. I had to reinstall the svpcode extension in add/remove components.

I notice I can no longer find Transcoding in the menu anymore where you used to be able to encode videos to 60fps.  Did they remove it?

It's working fine again.  I updated it and that seemed to work out the bug.

I thought I found my answer with this thread, but no.  I am getting same error.  I am not running it with administrator privileges.  It worked fine before and all of the sudden, this error pops up.

I too have ran into this problem except I wasn't even getting near 80-120fps like you claimed.  It was only at 59.94 just like on my 60hz monitor.  It was set at "Screen refresh rate" too, so I have no idea why svp wasn't automatically going to 120fps.  I thought it was just supposed to work depending on the refresh rate of the monitor you are using.

It seems everything is fine now, not sure what happened.  Consider this problem fixed.  Thanks.

I don't know if anyone else has noticed this, but today while trying to play a video from YouTube as I always do with svtube, it did not work.  It said "Failed to render file"..Then I tried downloading a video with youtube downloader through firefox extension, and it saved a 0 byte file.  It seems YouTube has done something to change the way their videos play.  I don't know.  Maybe someone can look into this and come up with a workaround?  Thanks.

I use SVP, and love it!  Really does a great job making your videos look better.  I had another idea for upscaling software that could upscale lower quality, dvd, 720p up to 1080p or beyond if you have the screen for it.  I have seen other people on the net wondering this very thing, maybe SVP already does this in some way, I don't know.  I think it's a great idea, but unfortunately, I don't have the knowledge of how to do this myself.

So, I figured I would put it out there for the geniuses who wrote SVP, in hopes of maybe they could figure out how to recreate this technology for the computer.  Thanks again for SVP and keep up the great work!
