I'm no expert on this but wouldn't an flatpack version of SVP solve a lot of problems like this?
Anyone else that cant get SVP to work anymore on arch?
Runing garuda (latest updates ofc) and i keep getting the same error again and again, no matter what I try. The error is: Playback [babedd7c]: VS - Failed to initialize VapourSynth VSScript library: Python executable and library path couldn't be determined despite automatic configuration. Run `vapoursynth config` to set it for this Python installation and then try again.
Ofc runing "vapoursynth config" in terminal gives me a Configuration successfully written message but the same error is still there and no interpolation in mpv. I spend more then 3h at this point with chatgpt trying everything that it and me could think of but to na avail. Also, everything was still working fine a few weeks back.
Anyone else with the same or simmilar problem?
It's not that the SVP can't be started as an application but it's that it doesn't "inject" itself into mpv and no interpolation is done. In the log there is only 1 error: Playback [1cc060e0]: VS - Could not initialize VapourSynth scripting.
The person here https://gist.github.com/tomkabel/d3d05d … 6773735463 apparently has a solution but it's a bit over my head. Can someone smarter then me pls help?
