Dunno what's up I've never had this issue before. But now most videos play @ 59.9 FPS and a few are stuck @ 60 FPS

The settings are all at default with Target Frame Rate set to screen refresh rate.

I think it has something to do since I installed ReClock but even after removing ReClock the issue is still there.

The video will play @ 60 FPS only if I select in SVP double target Frame rate. But then when I try to play other videos with that setting SVP gives a warning that it is now playing over the monitor refresh rate which is 60 hz. since they would plkay @ 72 FPS so that's not a setting I would like to keep.

I don't know why some videos are stuck @ 30 FPS and others are not.

First I was on MPC-BE 1.7.5 then I tried MPC-BE which never gave me trouble before but same thing.

Filters I am using in order:

madVR (smooth motion disable, tried enabling it, no difference)
ffdshow raw video filter
LAV Decoder / CUVID
LAV Audio
LAV splitter

any ideas?

on of the best AVs out there, that got 99.8% detection rate last april on the AV comparatives test results. is very light, and doesn't usually have any quirks like other AVs do...

SVP has just been whitelisted with Emsisoft Anti-Malware. No more issues smile

http://support.emsisoft.com/topic/14414-svp-fp/

I understand. I wouldn't do it as well if I were in your position.

Chainik

ahhh I never knew that! crap

I made a complain in the Emsisoft forum about this false positive, trying to connect to the internet and code injection...

their response is they can whitelist the file if you can digitally sign the SVP installer.

Can you guys please do that?

This is the thread of the discussion:

http://support.emsisoft.com/topic/14414-svp-fp/

My Antivirus (Emsisoft Anti-Malware) reported a malicious activity in SVP that it is trying to connect to the internet and transmit data.

why on earth would it do that??? what is it trying to send?

I have 2 nVIDIA GeForce GTX 770M in my laptop working in SLI mode.

In SVP, I can only choose one of them at a time for the acceleration...how can I use both at the same time? is there a way to choose both?

Now I know why my problem happend on both MPC-BE and MPC-HC

I just tried disabling LAV Splitter, same result

tried changing the DirectShow Video to Default from what I had it before (madVR), same result

tried disabling LAV Video decoder, same result, then I finally found out the problem. When I set LAV to CUDA, the seek doesn't work in MKV files, if I set it to DXVA it works. I am using the latest version LAV Filters v0.61.2

Why isn't CUDA working for seeking only on MKV files?

I have a GeForce GTX770M

yes bro, I tried both, and both on a clean install of Windows 7 Pro

I just noticed this doesn't happen with all MKV files ,just some of them

but then, why can WMP play them and seek fine and MPC-HC/MPC-BE can't

maybe you can login to my teamviewer tomorrow to have a look, i will PM you

thanks a lot

Ok now I installed SVP 3.1.6 full, left all settings at default, internal filters enabled, ffdshaw raw video filter only, same thing happened when playing MKV files

Problem solved, it appears that the default window size of MPC-HC was altered after the update to 3.1.6, accidentally, I dragged the window from the corner and it appeared.

Just though I'd let you know about this, strange how no one else reported this

I had Windows 8.1 installed and this happened so I uninstalled SVP and manually installed all the components then installed SVP Core then everything worked right.

Now today, I did a fresh format and installed Windows 7 Professional, then I wanted to try SVP Core again, same thing happened

When I run MPC-HC, here is how it looks like:

http://i59.tinypic.com/2ihy2ab.png

If I play any video, I only hear the audio as if MPC-HC was an MP3 Player only

It says at the bottom Playing H/W but the video is not there, only the sound and the seekbar

I tried resetting the view of MPC-HC to NORMAL but that didn't help

Please help

(11 replies, posted in Using SVP)

yes bro, freshly formatted system nothing installed but the latest LAV, madVR, ffdshow, and avisynth

in the codecs, I have set LAV/Cuda in the external filters + LAV Audio + LAV Splitter + ffdshaw raw video filter

oh no relation, but I asked the same question on Doom9 forums with not a single reply. So I thought I can ask the pro's here please

I am using MPC-BE v1.4.2.4752 (x86) + LAV + madVR

When I play any MKV video, I cannot use the seekbar, the moment I move it to any other portion of the movie, the player just shows me a black screen

I then tried opening it in Windows Media Player and it plays and seeks just fine.

what could be the issue?

It's not onl that 1 video, but any MKV file I try playing

perfect! can't wait smile

I currently use SVP Core and manually install the latest ffdshow + LAV + madVR + MPC-BE (as I don't want its built in LAV, I like installing/configuring my own version)

It's been almost 1 year since SVP 3.1.5 was released.

There are so many updates to LAV, madVR, MPC-HC (or even better, if you can add MPC-BE) and such

is there no planned update that will include everything and perhaps some enhancements to SVP?

96

(5 replies, posted in Using SVP)

I request this too! I have moved to MPC-BE as its interface is much better and it doesn't include preinstalled LAV + MadVR! I want to install my own

i bought my wife a weak acer laptop that has a 1.8 GHz. i3 / 4 GB RAM / Intel HD Graphics 4000

when I run SVP, after a while I get a message saying lower SVP index 0.8

but in the settings I can't find that option

how come the recommendation message doesn't reflect the correct name in the actual settings?

where do i find this SVP shader index to lower it
