It works only if I uncheck all internal  filters from MPC-HC options menu.

If I don't uncheck the internal filters, it work only with some file format:  avi, mp4, ecc..   but not with mts2 or VOB (BD & DVD format).

To repeat this configurations I need to format the PC and install SVP as first installations. In Windows 8.1 its no easy to remove completally some apps.

Hi to All,

Already in the past we discussed...

http://www.svp-team.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=698

but the problem looks like the same in the last release of SVP, also.

In my rig, starting from a new installation of windows 7 x64 (only drivers and Windows  update), then installing SVP with each DEFAULT PARAMETER,
playback DVD or BD runs without smooth video o doubling frame rate.
To have video smooth effect with SVP, in order I need to uncheck each internal filter in MPC-HC and setting in ffdshow some others codes!  sad

Please, fix it again.

thanks

oh yeah, in MPC 1.6.1 appears news internal MPEG2 decoder and installer don't knew about it, so internal MPEG2 decoder was enabled and ffdshow not used by default. may be it will be fixed in next version.

Thanks for the bug report!

Thank you!   smile

After installation if you press Ctrl+D DVD/BD playback runs with smooth video?

In my rig doesnt' work! Playback  works, but there isn't smooth video effect. I need to config some ffdshow  codecs, before

Hi to all,
In the standard installation could be fantastic to have already loaded each setting for DVD and Blu-ray playback!
At the moment, after default  installation of SVP, DVD and BD playback doesn't work!  sad  It works only with some hd file like mkv.

If ur using Win 7 64 bit and stuffs madVR have problem, just change video renderer and u'll see ur DvD will play correctly (Note: Win 7 64 is not the only system not supported by madVR, Google around to check the list).

Hope i've helped you.

For DVD You may have to untick the relevant codecs in MPC-HC on left and right sides (MPEG2) and in FFDSHOW You have to put a tick on DVD decoding in the codecs section.

Why with default settings MPC-HC and ffdshow may have wrong values?
Which settings?

thanks

They are not wrong values. They are just default. Yes, by default install of SVP, only MKV files should be played smoothly. If You want other formats to use SVP, You need to configure MPC-HC (disable it's internal filters and codecs) and FFDSHOW to gather those formats and play them. If FFDSHOW plays a video and SVP Manager is running, SVP kicks in and smooth Your video.

We All need a little and simple  guide how to play  DVD, BD formats in mpc-hc configuring ffdshow.

thanks

Turn off internal decoders in madVR. It will SVP to work with madVR render.

SVP needs in ffdShow to make vid

eo smooth. You must to enable ffdShow when playing DVD. For this purpose you need to switch off all internal DXVA decoders in your player.

Can you show your DS-filters list while playing DVD?

sad  sad  Is There  any guide about  DVD-madVR-SVP ?

Thanks

Hi to All.
I've installed on my rig (W7 x64 - i7 950 - GTS 450 ) last release of SVP (with all default settings) but it seem doesn't work totally.

1) It works fine only with mkv or BD files, but without madVR video render! (MADVR is registred and works, but SVP doesn't start: it waiting for ffdshow video...)

2) DVD files don't work with all video render (Hali, EVR, madvr...) SVP waiting for ffdshow video...   same error!

Any idea?

thanks to all.
