Hello, I've seen a lot of people saying that the artifact masking option shouldn't be used or at least never set to the strongest setting. Is there a reason why?

I've been loving SVP since I got it but the artifacts really are bugging me. Here are my settings- is there anything I can do to help smooth some of them out?

I just turned on artifact masking to test and change the conversion rate based on the framerate of the show I'm watching. I only use SVP for anime.

Yeah this has been bugging me too. If we can't find a global fix then I'd love to see a profile rule that detects VFR in videos and allows us to change the conversion rate.

That would be great! I think others would appreciate it too. I've seen a few posts in this forum and others where people were having the same issue. Being able to set and forget a profile rule would make it simple. Thanks!

Need some quick help please. I just got SVP Pro and am working stuff out trying to get the best video quality for my anime.

When I have a show encoded with variable frame rate I'm getting dropped frames unless I set my conversion rate to x2 (like the SVP team explained in the manual). Is there a way to set a profile to activate only when there's VFR detected?

When using the 'apply this profile if' feature the frame rate field only accepts numerical values so not sure what the best way to do this is. If setting a profile isn't the right way to deal with VFR and someone knows a better way, can you let me know please?
