It may be not so clear but "True Motion" IS a processing through SVP.
In other words it's using SVP engine in transcoding.
You don't need to have SVP Manager running.
Please ask SubJunk for further questions about UMS.

Universal Media Server is a DLNA-compliant UPnP Media Server.
It is based on PS3 Media Server by shagrath. It is actually an evolution of the "SubJunk Build" of PMS.
UMS was started by SubJunk, an official developer of PMS, in order to ensure greater stability and file-compatibility.
it's using SVP in the transcoding chain
I'll look into this but I don't think it's possible.
Right now the only parameter I see in "videoplayback" is "range" (from-to) value but it's expressed in bytes not in seconds.

Usman
Please DO NOT quote the full post!

The more processing threads I use, the better the video quality gets.
number of threads is only about hardware usage efficiency
this value doesn't affects video quality

I created a new limited user account
This is your mistake.
When you created NEW account the HKCU is empty.
Running under this new user SVP searches for ffdshow checking the existence of "HKCU\Software\GNU\ffdshow\default" key and it obviously absent (unless you run ffdshow by hands).
- Interface type -> Advanced
- double click SVP icon
- change "Motion vectors grid" to 24,28 or 32
- change "SVP shader" to "1. Fastest"
core2 @2000 is the absolute minimum for SVP
you can't lower settings for 1080p cause they're already set to lowest possible values
but you can lower something for 720p
sunny
i dnt have ny idea what to do
- buy a new laptop or
- don't play 1080p
1. you need to know if it's CPU limited or not
2. if not then you've a chance
2.1. increase "Processing threads" number untill it'll crash with some strange memory errors (try 19 for the start)
2.2. remember that 770M is more like desktop 650 (correct me if i'm wrong) AND that 120 fps needs exactly two times more GPU horsepower to render them
2.3. so lower madVR's settings or even switch to EVR (just for testing)
This's most likely means "not enough video memory".
So I'm afraid in your case you have no options but disable madVR.
it seems like it's madVR's error
open madVR settings - rendering - general settings and
- unset "enable automatic fullscreen exclusive mode"
- set "enable windowed overlay (Windows 7 and newer)"
Ruslan
1. set "Interface type" to "Expert"
2. choose "Information" - "Hidden settings"
3. find the line "AllowUpsize=0" and change it to "AllowUpsize=1", save the file
4. set "Decrease frame size" to "To screen size"
5. adjust other parameters as it'll consume a lot of CPU power now
