SVP выбирает параметры так, чтобы держать нагрузку на CPU не более ~70%
включение "ускорения" позволяет выбрать более "тяжелые" настройки, при сохранении уровня нагрузки на CPU

После K-Lite-а могут любые чудеса происходить. Поэтому в FAQ и написано, что кодек-паки есть абсолютное зло.
В MPC-HC убедиться, что все галки в Internal filters стоят (и Source filters, и Transform filters). И что в свойствах Video decoder стоят галки UHD и HEVC.
с HDR есть надежда только с mpv
надо пробовать!
перекодирование происходит тоже через mpv, сохраняет ли он при этом мета-данные HDR - никто не знает, тоже надо пробовать
перекодировать в 10 бит можно только через NVENC/HEVC
Убедиться, что MPC-HC использует встроенные фильтры, а не системные.
Единственное как установка SVP может повлиять на воспроизведение чего бы то ни было - это установка LAV Filters.
