Is it happened when you're playing all 1080p videos?

@Genki

I posted the sequence of installing from the fresh, and it worked for the TS.
This is the post link

Let's see if it can help you too.

Working with signal processing (such as video rendering) is about filters cascading.

Unlike many other programs, the whole system should be written with filters compatibility in mind (of course speed is important too).

Well, rewriting from scratch is no joke big_smile
Of course it will cease to be joke if one intended to make OS after all (I mean rewrite everything from kernel instead of make other linux distro big_smile )

It would be redundant, because in the end you still need the video renderer again after SVP.

If madVR first instead of SVP, it would be like this madVR->SVP->renderer(such as Overlay Mixer, EVR, madVR, etc). CMIIW

The simplest to set up is by uninstalling all codecs and install full packaged SVP.

I have posting how to setup using k-lite, it's already buried several pages.

That Nisekoi picture looks ugly, not your screenshot, but the animation studio. Thank goodness I never want to watch anime from Shaft, all their anime are mess and ugly, visually-wise.

What CPU is it used?

SVP is CPU hungry so make sure you have powerful CPU.
Lower the SVP setting, and/or the madVR setting could help.

In my case, I lower the SVP setting for 1080p video profile than 720p, and set madVR into mid-high setting (several options are in middle setting with few in high setting)

I have experience with freezing SVP too, but not occurred anymore.
The freezing was randomly happened at that time, but then it was randomly solved and not happening anymore lol

I have experience with SVP manager immediately turned off (without any warning or error notification whatsoever, it just crashed). But for last several weeks (or 2-3 months maybe) it wasn't happened anymore.

So I conclude, the problem like this is lie in my machine rather than SVP itself.

I don't know if there's option to specifically change framerate to 48, but for other option you could change your target frame rate in your profile setting

I never use CCCP, is the CCCP version that you use is 32 bit?

I think you've have mixed the 32bit and 64bit together. Doesn't CCCP has bundled with ffdshow?
You can check using whether you have complete filter or something broken in-between with tweak here tweak tool
http://www.svp-team.com/forum/misc.php?item=3261

That's usually bundled with KCLP, but it can installed independently.
I don't know why many people seem to hate KLCP but in years using it, I've never have fatal problem since the very first using it.

If you're having hard time, maybe you want to try my method? I posted it in this thread

Several things that can be tried:
1. Try to play with different video player (I personally have 5 different video player, MPC-HC x86 and x64, MPC-BE portable, VLC portable, PotPlayer portable, WMP). Maybe it seems overkill but there's no harm trying it.
2. Do you play game? Try to play game with fullscreen and see if arveru.exe comes out. You said that for 720p video is playing fine while playing 1080p, that .exe is comes out. There's chance it will come out when your system in fullscreen mode (since many common people won't be notice the task manager when in fullscreen mode)
3. Try to play fullscreen with you network off, this seems far-fetched but there's a chance that your system is used for processing capabilities (especially for mining virtual coin).
4. At last, make a restore point and just delete your arveru.exe. If you want to be thorough, delete the associated key for arveru.exe

Anyone familiar with Arveru.exe?
That is the one that uses 75% of my cpu when I watch anything..

I think you should scan your computer.

Or, you can right click the arveru.exe from task manager to see where it's located. From the folder, you can guess which software that use it.

Is the stutter happened for all videos?
Is it happened when you're playing 1280x720 video and fullscreen it to 1920x1080?

The CPU load could be happen because of shader, or high madVR setting (like dithering option set to Error Diffusion, activating neuron for image doubling, using high setting in image upscale such as Jinc or Spline, etc).

Sometimes it could because of shaders from video player (I tried to use it once and I couldn't watch any video properly).

For SVP setting, at best you could set it default at first.
By disabling Decrease Grid Step and to give the large value for Motion Vectors Grid, it might help a little.

I only used PotPlayer for some videos, and I only used it the portable version.
I didn't use the SVP manager for PotPlayer. I used its internal avisynth feature by copying the avs script from SVP.

This is what you want http://www.spirton.com/convert-videos-to-60fps/

Is there a way for example to have two different 720p profiles, one for anime and one for movies that i could dynamically switch between if you know what i mean.

Thanks.

I bet you're using guide to watch anime which it says to change your SVP shader option to no.2, right?

My suggestion is to leave it at default setting even for watching anime. I think the guide actually isn't relevant anymore.

You can enable Artifact Masking option from disabled to weakest till strongest in your profile setting.

But that will definitely defeat the purpose of watching using SVP big_smile

From all your screenshots, the only video that works fine is the one which it has 23fps (23.97 to be precise).

Is it possible the problem laid in video?

But surely SVP should be able calculate it though.

Do you use "blend adjacent frames" of Processing scenes changes in your profile setting?

(1 replies, posted in Using SVP)

You have broken filters, not related with SVP.

Uninstall all your codecs, reboot, and install it again.

Same thing, video is similar to running MPC without SVP.

Hmm, all I think the cause is auto crop black bars.

I think you should disable it.

272

(16 replies, posted in Using SVP)

Have you tried playing with auto crop disabled and running SPV before MPC-HC?

From your picture you only tried setting without auto crop black bars by running MPC before SPV,
so what will happen if you reverse it?

Maybe it's automatically disabled after you change your interface to expert?  big_smile

You must change your setting interface to expert (2nd from top).

Disable frame crop in that setting interface.

Sadly I only have a dual core APU @ 2.7ghz (AMD A6-4400M) so 1080p video seems to be a no go.

I was struggling too when watching 1080p on my older system. I didn't use many fancy filter but it still was hard.

So I think it's no wonder if you can't use SVP in older system.

Jwood013 wrote:

Update: I uninstalled all the programs used in setting up SVP, cleaned my registry with CCleaner and installed them again. It works now but due to my slow PC I can't even watch movies at 48 FPS so this was a lost cause.

What is your display refresh rate? maybe you can lower it into half or quarter of your display refresh rate.
Hopefully Re-clock will detect it as exact multiple of your display refresh rate and smooth it.

e.g. I have 60hz display refresh rate, if the video has 29fps, it's half of my display refresh rate. Then Re-clock will smooth the motion video.
