maybe there's a way via mpv.conf profiles and conditions...

does it depend on the type of embedded subtitles? (srt, ass/ssa or pgs)?

When watching videos, I sometimes play MKV files with embedded foreign language subtitles.
This doesn't seem to happen with external subtitles in .smi or .srt files, but when I play MKV files with embedded subtitles, the video stutters or becomes blurry.

So, I want to disable the SVP4 setting for MKV files with embedded subtitles. Is there a way to do this?
