So, I already purchased SVP for Windows but I've been using Ubuntu as dual boot and want to set up SVP there as well. Everything went find and I got vapoursynth and everything working fine. The only problem is mpv does not install after building. Everything works as expected until the rebuild -j4 command. After that, when I type sudo ./install in the mpv-build directory, the following message appears.

install data not found. run this command in build directory root.

Any idea what may have caused this?

If you can't help me with this, could you at least give me a rundown on how to build mpv so I could check if I am doing anything wrong. I followed the steps in SVP's guidelines but am stuck in this last bit.
