As far as I understand, the animation preset looks for the hard lines present in anime and other drawn media and film is for real life filmed media. I couldn't find anything by searching the forums as the words "3D" and "animation" obviously cause a lot of non relevant topics to appear.

Does anyone have experience with this? Seems a bit niche.
