I changed from ffdshow raw video filter to ffdshow video decoder, and it work fine..

No difference. You can use ffdShow Video Decoder.

is there any fix for this?
I see this error first time. In the Interrnet about error 0xC0000417 I found information about autorun corruption or registry corruption. If you want you can reinstall ffdShow with reset its settings.

MPC-HC or MPC-BE both crash with same error when trying to play a video stream, any video stream..

Here is an example video stream I was trying to play:

From what I can tell, its a problem with "ffdshow raw video filter". And it only crashes when trying to play the video. If I left it paused, it will continue buffering, but if I try to play the video, it will crash instantly.

I changed from ffdshow raw video filter to ffdshow video decoder, and it work fine..

Is there any difference in using ffdshow video decoder?

Or is there any fix for this?
